How gbxd handles your personal data, including cookies and Google AdSense advertising.
The data controller is the operator of gbxd. To exercise your rights or ask questions, email privacy@gbxd.app.
Account: email, password (stored by the authentication provider), username, display name, photo, and bio.
Activity: game diary, reviews, comments, lists, follows, and likes.
Technical: language, session, IP address, and basic browser data needed for security and operation.
Advertising: if you accept advertising cookies, Google may process identifiers and usage data for ads, under Google's own policy.
To provide the service (account, diary, reviews, and lists), keep the site secure, remember your language, and — if you consent — show Google AdSense ads.
Legal bases: performance of the contract (your account), legitimate interest (security and operation), and consent (advertising cookies and non-essential processing).
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site and others. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Google may show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage Google ads in Ads Settings and read Google's advertising policy and Google's privacy policy.
Other processors: Supabase (account and data hosting) and IGDB/Twitch (game catalog; we do not send them your profile).
We use necessary cookies (language, session, and your consent choice) and, only if you accept them, advertising cookies. Details are in the cookie policy. You can change your choice at any time via “Manage cookies” in the footer.
Account data is kept while the account exists. If you close it, we delete or anonymize information we no longer need, unless the law requires otherwise. Consent cookies last up to 12 months.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it. You may also complain to your country's data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

gbxd is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child registered, contact us to delete the account.
If we update this policy, we will change the date on this page. Material changes will be highlighted.
